“Garage of Ideas” – because every good idea was born in a garage.

The online program Garage of Ideas 2020 – because every good idea was born in a garage, is intended for young people aged 18 to 30 who want to initiate change and be a part of it. Young people who want to get active and take matters into their own hands, those who are aware of the responsibility we all bear together and who want to leave their mark on society.

The Garage of Ideas 2020 program is conducted entirely online, consisting of 3 modules and a final panel discussion. Each module lasts one week (2 hours/120 minutes) during which participants use interesting methodologies to get to know themselves and their interests, their position in society, detect social problems (global and local) in interesting ways, and define their own engagement in relation to the topic that represents their biggest problem and tackle it. They develop their project and present it at a panel discussion.

The “Xmas seeds” panel discussion is designed so that each participant presents their idea using previously acquired skills, knowledge and insights. Each participant presents to all other participants as well as experienced actors from the business industry. The goal of the panel discussion is to connect top business actors with proactive, innovative and creative young minds, for the purpose of even more significant changes in society, but also for each individual.

The program is implemented by Impact Hub Zagreb – a network consisting of more than 100 Impact Hubs in more than 55 countries and with more than 16,500 members. A platform and network that, through education, counseling and support, contributes to:

Developing the potential of young people to become resilient and active changemakers.
Micro-entrepreneurs to secure their position on the market and achieve the desired effect.
The project is co-financed by the European Union, and is implemented as part of the Erasmus+ project, and as such is free of charge.
