ZALET

ZALET customizes the critical support entrepreneurs need to focus and thrive in a safe space, leveraging their community and expert network. ZALET is part of the program of entrepreneurial support from Impact Hub Zagreb called miCRO inNOvation supported by the Norway Grants 2014-2021, in the framework of the Programme Business Development and Innovation Croatia. This is a program of Impact Hub Zagreb, delivered in collaboration with Impact Hub Agder. 

Program focused on microentrepreneurs in the phase of initiation, stagnation or growth. After diagnostic phase identifying the most relevant business challenge that stands as an obstacle in front of the entrepreneur, he/she passes through intense and individualized mentoring, tailor made educational content and networking opportunities to work on real solutions to real business challenges and create measurable progress in their businesses.

Ana Raguž, head of the Zalet program and co-founder of the Zagreb-based Impact HUB, says that they developed the advisory services program for microentrepreneurs after a detailed analysis of their needs. “The comparative advantage of this program is that it provides microentrepreneurs with continuous support, designed specifically for their needs, speed of growth and development,” says Raguž.

She adds that Zalet is focused on the individual needs of each microentrepreneur. It will function through cooperation between microentrepreneurs and experts, including business consultants, experienced entrepreneurs, designers and innovators.

This is a service that Impact HUB has estimated to have a market value of 15,000 kuna. Raguž points out that Zalet addresses one of the key problems faced by microentrepreneurs, which is the lack of access to a diverse community of experts, mentors and colleagues.

She explains that in this way, in addition to new ideas and motivation, through interaction with others, microentrepreneurs can quickly check themselves, i.e. test new products or services, iterate and optimize them. Zagreb’s Impact HUB, along with Zalet, runs an incubator and accelerator and various programs for social entrepreneurship.
